The Four Fields

The team in Italy is practicing disciple-making principles in an effort to see a movement of disciples realized.  You are coming to work with us in an effort to see that goal accomplished, so these videos will help you as you start to learn how to make disciples alongside of us.

The video lesson below provides an overview of the process that we use for making disciples.

Discussion questions for your team meeting:

  • How do you think this process can eventually create a movement of disciples?
  • Why is the order of the process important?
  • What would happen if one of the steps in the process was left out?
  • How will future disciples know how to make disciples?

Group Practice

  • Learn the Four Fields disciple-making process on your own before meeting with your team.
  • Within your team meeting, break up into small groups of 2 or 3 and explain the Four Fields to the other people in your small group.  Make sure and both draw the illustration while you explain the Four Fields process and utilize the scriptures that you learned in the video.  Each of the other people in your group should give you feedback on your explanation, encouraging each other to understand the process even better!

Lesson Homework

Teach the Four Fields process to at least one friend outside of your team this week.
